The Art of Persistancy

 A month ago we decided to change internet providers.  We figured that if we registered for the new service a month in advance it would give us plenty of time to cancel our current provider and get the new one hooked up without having to go without internet.  No such luck.  We just completed 8 days of being without internet.  It felt like forever.  Who knew that I was that reliant on having internet in my house. Every morning, first thing, Z would head down to the provider to make sure that we were on the list for getting internet that day. Every morning they said yes.  Every evening we went to bed disappointed.  This morning I decided to go with him.  2 hours later, internet was up and running.  I like to think that my presence had something to do with it.  Either that or Z's persistence paid off.  Either way I'm really glad to be connected to the world again.

The good thing about not having internet is that it gives you plenty of time to do other things.....like set up a new bed frame and begin rearranging the apartment for a new arrival.

It's a good thing we have a few months to deal with finishing touches.
